reply quotes survive a redaction, you see the shape of the conversation with a hole in it

right so how long does a redaction request usually take

how are missing days counted in the totals

gaps are real

PS

why does the export come out as one file per channel per day

the totals count published days only, so a missing day doesnt inflate the volume figures

NH

it says a day is unavailable and deliberately doesnt say which reason, because that would leak a redaction

a day seals at 00:00 UTC and after that only a redaction touches it, i think

the automated pass eats emails, phone numbers and anything that looks like a handle, and its aggressive

if you quote a date from here say UTC, the regional channels have had real confusion about it

the timestamp confusion is the most asked thing in here and ive answered it every year since 2024

leaving doesnt unpublish anything automatically, but a request from someone whos left is treated the same

update on the earlier thing you ask and it goes. you dont have to give a reason and you wont be asked for one

i tested the link stripper four times in 2024 and it won every time

UTC, always
