The room’s busiest compound channel. Trial data from the STEP programme and SELECT, the standard 0.25 → 2.4mg escalation, the seven-day half-life and why steady state takes about five weeks, the licensed ceiling argument, and two and a half years of people reporting what actually happened to them.

Half-life is about 7 days, so you are at roughly 94% of steady state after 5 weeks at a given dose. That is why "it stopped working after 4 days" is almost never a pharmacokinetic problem.
STEP 1 (NEJM 2021) is the trial to read first. STEP 4 is the one to read if you are thinking about stopping.
2.4mg is the licensed ceiling for weight management. Going above it is not a protocol, it is an experiment, and the room will say so.
