Highlights from this day
  • VialBot — Batch lookup B-0114: 8 independent reports on file, earliest 2025-09-12. 21:19
  • turnaround_tam — does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters 21:43
  • turnaround_tam — went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down 22:07
FN

the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing

held at 5 and lost 80lb over 2 months, slower than the trials and fine by me

MC

lost about 31kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me

AA

STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers

25 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half

MC

my PeptideMeter report on the SSA vial came back 99.2 against a certificate saying 98.1

anyone gone from 2 straight to 7.5 or is that too big a jump

FN

going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution

MC

i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that

VL

SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial, anyway

does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life

wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mg
MC

the appetite effect faded for me around 16 months and going up fixed it for a while, happy to be corrected

did anybody find a difference between ERP and pharmacy at the same 2.4

SELECT wasnt weight

PS

right so back after 18 months off, do i restart at 0.25 or somewhere higher

🎉3
PS

FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure

wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mg

ok so i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication

TT

changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels, ill dig out the number

SS

half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose

🧪1📈1😂4
PS

restarted after 25 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time

*PeptideMeter not the other one

steady state takes weeks

CC

coming back to this steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing

GG

dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters, ask me again in a month

CC

i held at 12 for 2 months and it was the best decision i made

🎉3⚠️1

my dose day drifted from friday to sunday, does that reset anything

ok so my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem
the plateau hit me at 27 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change

CC

i stayed on 1.7 for 22 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it

GG

moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me
the appetite effect faded for me around 10 months and going up fixed it for a while

TT

im at 0.5 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up

UD

compounded and brand felt the same to me at 2.4, which is one person and nothing more, still working it out

UD

follow up vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong

🔥16

does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker
dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters

📈13🙏5🤝12

the plateau hit me at 15 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change, i could be wrong

TT

brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel

👀17📈4❤️6

five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt, n of 1 obviously

went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down

MP

how long till steady state, ive read the half life is about a week

SB

if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule

same dose day

seven days ish

FN

$94 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials
