Rules

1. No unsolicited sales contact. Ever.

Nobody legitimate contacts you out of the blue offering a discount. If a member or a supplier messages you first to sell you something, that is a reportable offence and the report goes in #scam-watch. This is the room's oldest rule and the one that has saved members the most money.

2. Nobody prescribes.

Say what you did. Say what happened. Do not tell somebody else what to take, at what dose, on what schedule. The distinction is not pedantry: this room contains people at the start of something difficult, and the difference between "I held at 1mg for three months" and "you should hold at 1mg" is the whole difference between a community and a liability.

Where somebody describes a symptom that needs examining, the room stops discussing and says so. That is not us being cautious for our own sake. It is the only responsible thing a chat room can do.

3. Sourcing talk stays in the sourcing channels.

#vendor-talk, #vendor-verification, #scam-watch, #shipping-customs, #payments. Not in the compound channels, not in #wins, and never by private message in either direction.

4. A claim about purity needs evidence.

Evidence means an independent report, on a lot you bought yourself, with the lot number legible, from a laboratory the room recognises — and blinded where that is practical. Evidence does not mean the supplier's own certificate on its own, a screenshot, a referral link, or somebody's word.

Verification is revoked on a confirmed failure and the revocation stays in the log permanently. Nothing is ever deleted from the verification log, including our own mistakes. Verification has never been for sale and never will be. Offers to buy it are posted publicly with the sender redacted.

5. Be decent to people who are struggling.

A large part of this room is people at week three who feel awful and are thinking about stopping, and people two years in who are working out who they are now. #mental-health is moderated gently and firmly, and it is not a crisis service — we say so plainly rather than pretending otherwise.

How enforcement works

Six moderators. A first breach is usually a redirect. Repeat breaches of rule 1 or rule 3 get a removal. Moderator actions that affect the public log are noted in #announcements, and the log itself is not edited to hide them.
