4 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half

- early_satiety — is the plateau at 11 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong 07:14
- bac_water_bill — right so how did people handle the jump from 1 to 1.7 11:03
- tarpit_tam — was FLOW the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up 13:36
- pioneer_pia — licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose 13:37
- pioneer_pia — my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem, not advice obviously 13:52
mine faded too
same dose day
dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters
is the plateau at 11 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong
follow up five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt
give it four weeks
steady state takes weeks
seven days ish
FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure
held at 2.4 and lost 8lb over 26 months, slower than the trials and fine by me
im at 0.25 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up
slower worked better
STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers
restarted after 16 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time
the appetite effect faded for me around 26 months and going up fixed it for a while
unrelated but the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing
vials not pens here
held there too
steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing
i stayed on 1.7 for 17 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it
coming back to this whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers
for the archive anyone compared their 4 vial dosing against the pen increments
vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong
right so how did people handle the jump from 1 to 1.7
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip, thats one data point
went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down
not the same trial
i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that
ok so is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping
compounded and brand felt the same to me at 15, which is one person and nothing more
unrelated but does anyone actually run a five week step instead of four
the plateau hit me at 24 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change
is there a reason to hold at 1.7 rather than going to 2.4
2.4 is the ceiling
going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution, we shall see
thats STEP 1
was FLOW the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up
licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose
moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me
[edited]lost about 16kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me
Purity check: no report on file for lot SG-1177. Nothing logged either way.
how long till steady state, ive read the half life is about a week
my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem, not advice obviously
does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life
