Highlights from this day
  • juno_joins — licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose 15:37
  • two_four_ceiling — right so i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that 16:04
  • taper_or_not — compounded and brand felt the same to me at 15, which is one person and nothing more 16:31
  • juno_joins — vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong 18:28
  • fasting_insulin — does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life 20:23
JJ

for the archive half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose

JJ

ok so five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt, i have it written down somewhere

JJ

my 2 vial in 3ml gives 4mg/ml so 12 lands on 25 units, thats why i picked that volume

licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose

AA

£55 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials

my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem

TO

compounded and brand felt the same to me at 15, which is one person and nothing more

NH

the appetite effect faded for me around 9 months and going up fixed it for a while

did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed

🧪2

plateaus move

NH

SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial, ill dig out the number

not the same trial

ok so anyone compared their 2 vial dosing against the pen increments

thats STEP 1

📉11
FI

FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure

NE

genuine question did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go

💀17
JJ

my dose day drifted from friday to sunday, does that reset anything

JJ

is the plateau at 15 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong

JJ

vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong

JJ

dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters

NE

STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it

JJ

going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution

NP

sorry to jump in how long did the first 16kg take for people at the low doses

🙏13📈5👍12

2.4 is the ceiling

vials not pens here

my PeptideMeter report on the FGP vial came back 99.2 against a certificate saying 99

went too fast once

the plateau hit me at 15 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change

NP

changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels

BR

if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule

STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping

FI

does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life

*week 28 not week 5

does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker
