does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one

- chaser_chris — quick one $240 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials 17:20
- vial_ledger — held at 2.5 and lost 64lb over 19 months, slower than the trials and fine by me 18:07
- two_four_ceiling — SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial 18:16
STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it
my VendorInvestigate report on the WWB vial came back 99.2 against a certificate saying 99.4
how long till steady state, ive read the half life is about a week
mine faded too
same dose day
is the plateau at 7 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong
ok so i held at 2.4 for 7 months and it was the best decision i made
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
2.4 is the ceiling
going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution
held there too
quick one $240 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials
dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters
licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose
i stayed on 1.7 for 16 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it
right so half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose
update on the earlier thing was STEP 1 the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up
sorry to jump in the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip
how many weeks before you noticed anything at 0.5
vials not pens here
ok so the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing
the appetite effect faded for me around 5 months and going up fixed it for a while, still working it out
sorry to jump in went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down, someone check my working
held at 2.5 and lost 64lb over 19 months, slower than the trials and fine by me
sorry to jump in whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers
give it four weeks
restarted after 9 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time
back after 19 months off, do i restart at 0.25 or somewhere higher
SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial
if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule
ok so does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life
brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel
i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that
genuine question my dose day drifted from friday to sunday, does that reset anything
changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels, take that with a pinch of salt
steady state takes weeks
12 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half
