EE

anyone compared their 2.5 vial dosing against the pen increments

how long did the first 12kg take for people at the low doses

👀8🙏18📉10

the plateau hit me at 4 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change
15 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half

SC

half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose, anyway

🔥16

lost about 26kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me

*Janoshik not the other one

TM

licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose

TM

does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker

TT

FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure

VB

Batch lookup B-0329: 4 independent reports on file, earliest 2025-03-29.

TT

1 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half, i could be wrong

vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong

my dose day drifted from friday to sunday, does that reset anything

🤝4🧪7🧊8

slightly off topic but changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels

the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip, ill dig out the number

👀17

went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down

TT

anyone gone from 1.7 straight to 2.5 or is that too big a jump

😂4🧊7
TM

SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial

MP

im at 12 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up

MP

STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it, from memory

TM

i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that

SB

held at 1.7 and lost 14lb over 17 months, slower than the trials and fine by me

moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me, still working it out

SC

is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping

steady state takes weeks

🔥18🧊1🙏17

is 2.4 the top or do people go past it

*Janoshik not the other one

does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one

went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step

did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed

EE

i held at 1.7 for 4 months and it was the best decision i made, thats just me

AA

i stayed on 1.7 for 8 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it
my 10 vial in 1ml gives 10mg/ml so 2.5 lands on 50 units, thats why i picked that volume

EE

STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers

SS

update on the earlier thing my 5 vial in 3ml gives 2mg/ml so 15 lands on 12 units, thats why i picked that volume, not advice obviously

LN

going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution

LN

the appetite effect faded for me around 8 months and going up fixed it for a while

Trial scheduleWhat most people here do
Step interval4 weeks, fixed4-12 weeks, on symptoms
Holdingprotocol deviationnormal and expected
Top dosereached by designoften never reached
Coming downnot studiedcommon at maintenance
SS

my Medutest report on the QST vial came back 98.1 against a certificate saying 99.4

if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule

slower worked better, from memory
FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure

is the plateau at 16 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong

$185 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials

🙏4

back after 18 months off, do i restart at 0.25 or somewhere higher

for the archive did anybody find a difference between MKM and pharmacy at the same 2

STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping

wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mg
MM

i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication

VB

Reminder for step_one_sian: dose day is today. Set 7 days ago.

MM

my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem, thats just me
