what did SELECT actually measure, i see it quoted for everything

- ferritin_fay — ok so anyone compared their 10 vial dosing against the pen increments 20:50
- ferritin_fay — the plateau hit me at 28 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change 21:38
- ferritin_fay — lost about 27kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me 21:47
- orfor_watch — STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping 21:56
held there too
sorry to jump in STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it
did anyone hold at 5 longer than four weeks before going up
[edited]my VendorInvestigate report on the HJ vial came back 98.6 against a certificate saying 96.8, take that with a pinch of salt
[edited]went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step
ok so anyone compared their 10 vial dosing against the pen increments
i stayed on 1.7 for 3 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it, ask me again in a month
went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down
SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial, we shall see
brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel
SELECT wasnt weight
my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem
same dose day
i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that
five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt
was STEP 4 the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up
changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels
STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers, thats one data point
licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose
the plateau hit me at 28 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change
the appetite effect faded for me around 11 months and going up fixed it for a while
lost about 27kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me
2.4 is the ceiling
STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping
steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing
how long did the first 29kg take for people at the low doses
does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life
whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers
vials not pens here
not the same trial
seven days ish
if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule
i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication
held at 2.4 and lost 49lb over 5 months, slower than the trials and fine by me, i have it written down somewhere
slower worked better
mine faded too
the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing
