slower worked better

im at 2 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up
vials not pens here
was STEP 4 the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up
restarted after 14 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time
the plateau hit me at 33 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change
SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial
right so changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels
if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule
whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers
my Janoshik report on the QST vial came back 98.6 against a certificate saying 97.4
steady state takes weeks
lost about 44kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me
steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing
compounded and brand felt the same to me at 10, which is one person and nothing more, n of 1 obviously
coming back to this i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication
same dose day
what did SELECT actually measure, i see it quoted for everything
my dose day drifted from friday to sunday, does that reset anything
11 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half, i could be wrong
dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters
[edited]anyone gone from 15 straight to 1 or is that too big a jump
2.4 is the ceiling
SELECT wasnt weight
the appetite effect faded for me around 6 months and going up fixed it for a while, n of 1 obviously
did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go
thats STEP 1
wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mgmoving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me
how many weeks before you noticed anything at 15
i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that
going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution
STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping
half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose
STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers
STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping
give it four weeks
licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose
STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it
does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker
the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing
went too fast once
i stayed on 1.7 for 22 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it
FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure
i held at 1.7 for 7 months and it was the best decision i made, i could be wrong
sorry to jump in how long did the first 30kg take for people at the low doses
follow up how did people handle the jump from 1 to 1.7
does anyone actually run a five week step instead of four
seven days ish
went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down, thats one data point
steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing
update on the earlier thing held there too
*PeptideMeter not the other one
im 17 months in at 1.7 and the appetite effect faded, is that a thing
