Highlights from this day
  • egfr_ed — if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule, anyway my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed… 15:40
  • surpass_two — i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication 16:49
  • peak_split — moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me 17:49
  • surpass_two — SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial, i have it written down somewhere 18:37

i held at 10 for 9 months and it was the best decision i made, i have it written down somewhere

the plateau hit me at 13 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change

EE

if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule, anyway
my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem

EE

is the plateau at 18 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong

🙏2
JJ

23 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half

my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem

PS

what did SELECT actually measure, i see it quoted for everything

ST

steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing

i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication

🙏1🧪11

does anyone actually run a five week step instead of four

PS

STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers

half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose, take that with a pinch of salt

ST

held at 2.5 and lost 69lb over 9 months, slower than the trials and fine by me

PS

moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me

wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mg

not the same trial

held there too

STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it

ST

my 5 vial in 2.5ml gives 4mg/ml so 10 lands on 8 units, thats why i picked that volume

ST

SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial, i have it written down somewhere
