Highlights from this day
  • identity_shift — steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing 16:09
  • identity_shift — i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication, for what its worth 16:42
  • madrid_mg — follow up back after 12 months off, do i restart at 0.25 or somewhere higher 18:24
IS

held at 2 and lost 13lb over 5 months, slower than the trials and fine by me

MM

STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers

IO

my 5 vial in 2ml gives 5mg/ml so 0.25 lands on 12 units, thats why i picked that volume

IO

i stayed on 1.7 for 18 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it

IO

anyone gone from 2.4 straight to 0.25 or is that too big a jump

EE

compounded and brand felt the same to me at 0.5, which is one person and nothing more

while im here did anybody find a difference between CPC and pharmacy at the same 0.25

plateaus move

EE

i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that

did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed

👀17🧪1

how long till steady state, ive read the half life is about a week

EE

is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping

the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip

VB

Testing queue: 7 submissions open, 82 awaiting dispatch.

the appetite effect faded for me around 5 months and going up fixed it for a while

IO

going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution

ST

STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it

IS

i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication, for what its worth

IO

sorry to jump in FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure

QH

five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt

❤️1📈10📉13

25 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half

wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mg

held there too

QH

coming back to this brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel

VB

Assay note: MKM lot E-2205 reported at 98.6% of label content.
