- jute_journals — brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel 11:01
- dill_doses — anyone gone from 12 straight to 1.7 or is that too big a jump 11:17
- identity_shift — does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one 12:33
- identity_shift — my 30 vial in 5ml gives 2.5mg/ml so 2.4 lands on 50 units, thats why i picked that volume 13:10
does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker
brand vs compounded, is there a difference people can actually feel
Digest for the week of 2026-03-02 has been published.
the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip
seven days ish
anyone gone from 12 straight to 1.7 or is that too big a jump
wk 1-4 0.25mg
wk 5-10 0.50mg (held 2 extra weeks)
wk 11-14 1.00mg
wk 15-26 1.70mg (held, long)
wk 27+ 2.40mgis the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping
if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule
i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication, n of 1 obviously
Purity check: no report on file for lot A-2418. Nothing logged either way.
did anybody find a difference between GL Biochem and pharmacy at the same 2
went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down, for what its worth
unrelated but vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong
i held at 5 for 5 months and it was the best decision i made
does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one
held at 0.25 and lost 19lb over 13 months, slower than the trials and fine by me, anyway
my 30 vial in 5ml gives 2.5mg/ml so 2.4 lands on 50 units, thats why i picked that volume
[edited]| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
unrelated but is the plateau at 3 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong
was FLOW the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up
is there a reason to hold at 1.7 rather than going to 2.4
steady state takes weeks
my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem
changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels
restarted after 5 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time, not advice obviously
not the same trial
give it four weeks
£72 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials
STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers
coming back to this im at 0.25 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up
SELECT wasnt weight
for the archive the plateau hit me at 27 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change
same dose day
