vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong, ask me again in a month

- triumph_watch — does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker 17:27
- triumph_watch — did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go 17:34
- seizure_letter — did anybody find a difference between WXT and pharmacy at the same 1 17:51
- night_pin — moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me 18:35
- cold_start_cy — follow up how many weeks before you noticed anything at 0.5 20:50
anyone gone from 0.5 straight to 12 or is that too big a jump
does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker
did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go
the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip
went too fast once
restarted after 19 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time
[edited]did anybody find a difference between WXT and pharmacy at the same 1
STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping
[edited]STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it, anyway
was SURMOUNT-OSA the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up
licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose
moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me
not the same trial
slower worked better
anyone compared their 8 vial dosing against the pen increments
i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that
held there too
same dose day
if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule
is the plateau usually appetite coming back or just the scale stopping
is there a reason to hold at 1.7 rather than going to 2.4
what did SELECT actually measure, i see it quoted for everything
thats STEP 1
*that should say weekly
follow up SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial
the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing

[edited]2.4 is the ceiling
follow up how many weeks before you noticed anything at 0.5
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
while im here changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels
seven days ish
give it four weeks
plateaus move
SELECT wasnt weight
