Highlights from this day
  • per_mg_pete — going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution 19:00
  • per_mg_pete — dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters 19:14
  • slow.taper — STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers 19:52
  • slow.taper — changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels, for what its worth 20:07
  • triple_ag_tom — im at 1 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up 22:00
PM

whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers

was SURPASS-2 the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up

thats STEP 1

PM

lost about 38kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me, for what its worth

give it four weeks

VB

Reminder for orfor_watch: dose day is today. Set 8 days ago.

FI

SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes in people with overweight and existing disease, not a weight trial, ill dig out the number

PM

went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down

PM

going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution

😂10

vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong

how many weeks before you noticed anything at 12

dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters

😂13⚠️11

i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication

EE

does moving my dose day by two days matter with a seven day half life

the plateau hit me at 18 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change

TA

my 20 vial in 5ml gives 5mg/ml so 0.5 lands on 25 units, thats why i picked that volume

ST

STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers

changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels, for what its worth

ST

does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker

STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it, from memory

how did people handle the jump from 1 to 1.7

👀2

i stayed on 1.7 for 21 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it, i could be wrong

compounded and brand felt the same to me at 1.7, which is one person and nothing more

SS

the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip

TA

genuine question restarted after 14 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time, i could be wrong

TA

does anyone actually run a five week step instead of four
half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose

im 22 months in at 7.5 and the appetite effect faded, is that a thing

TA

im at 1 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up
