Highlights from this day
  • taper_tess — vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong 21:16
  • taper_tess — i held at 1.7 for 8 months and it was the best decision i made 21:17
  • tenpence — did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go 22:23
  • alcohol_hits — the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing 22:53

how many weeks before you noticed anything at 0.5

i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication
five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt

compounded and brand felt the same to me at 2.5, which is one person and nothing more, i could be wrong

the plateau hit me at 13 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change

STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers

thats STEP 1

FA

my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem

CO

coming back to this steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing

steady state takes weeks

what did SELECT actually measure, i see it quoted for everything

CO

quick one went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down

🙏1🧪1🧊9

not the same trial

does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker

plateaus move

📉7

anyone compared their 2 vial dosing against the pen increments

changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels

STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it

i stayed on 1.7 for 20 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it

follow up whats the actual licensed ceiling, i keep seeing different numbers

did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed

The head-to-head everyone quotes. Note the semaglutide comparator dose.
TE

5 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half, thats just me

VB

On this day 7 years ago this channel logged 68 messages.

moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me, i could be wrong

genuine question does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one

PP

€120 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials

SO

my PeptideMeter report on the QSC vial came back 98.1 against a certificate saying 98.6

TE

did anyone titrate slower than four weeks a step and how did that go

Trial scheduleWhat most people here do
Step interval4 weeks, fixed4-12 weeks, on symptoms
Holdingprotocol deviationnormal and expected
Top dosereached by designoften never reached
Coming downnot studiedcommon at maintenance
TE

was SELECT the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up

the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip

going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution

AH

quick one lost about 44kg on the low doses before i even got to 1, which surprised me

TE

for the archive STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping

is 2.4 the top or do people go past it

i dont think the plateau is a dose problem most of the time, but i cant prove that

how long till steady state, ive read the half life is about a week

dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters

💀2🧊3
AH

the appetite effect faded for me around 20 months and going up fixed it for a while, for what its worth

how long did the first 39kg take for people at the low doses

the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing
