Highlights from this day
  • blank_run — rough accumulation if you inject the same amount weekly and the half-life is 7 days 22:50
  • retention_time — this should be pinned honestly 22:54
  • blank_run — i cant tell you that and i wont. what i can tell you is what the curve looks like, and it looks like you have not seen the top of your current dose yet 23:19
  • VialBot — reminder for @reading_the_pins (set 12 days ago): you asked to be pinged to log how week 4 went. #dosing-titration 23:58
CC

steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing

GG

changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels, still working it out

CC

half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose

i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication

how many weeks before you noticed anything at 12

how long till steady state, ive read the half life is about a week

GG

my dose day drifted from friday to sunday, does that reset anything

restarted after 4 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time

my Medutest report on the GGPeps vial came back 98.6 against a certificate saying 99.4

my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem

RT

i moved up two weeks ago and felt nothing for the first week then got hit hard. is that normal

so a dose change is not an event, its a slow slope you walk up for about a month

BR

rough accumulation if you inject the same amount weekly and the half-life is 7 days

week 1 dose lands -> 1.00 units of "stuff"
week 2 0.50 left + 1.00 new = 1.50
week 3 0.75 + 1.00 = 1.75
week 4 0.88 + 1.00 = 1.88
week 5 0.94 + 1.00 = 1.94
week 6 0.97 + 1.00 = 1.97
plateau = 2.00

so ~95% of the way there by week 5. that is where the
"give it 4 to 5 weeks" advice comes from. it is not folklore,
it is just doubling.
BR

both. thats the whole point. you are never on one dose, you are on the sum of the last several

BB

which is also why moving up every 2 weeks is a slightly odd thing to do

you are changing the input before you have seen the output of the last change

BR

you might be. you just wont know whether you were until three weeks after you find out

BR

i cant tell you that and i wont. what i can tell you is what the curve looks like, and it looks like you have not seen the top of your current dose yet

RT

my own rule, for me, was never change anything in the same week i changed something

RT

5 weeks minimum. i was slower than the label. took me nearly 7 months to reach 2.4

BB

back. also worth knowing the half-life is why a missed day barely registers

one day late on a 7 day half-life is nothing. three days late is noticeable. that is the whole injection day drift argument

BR

yes. five weeks up, roughly five weeks down. people are always surprised by the down side and it is exactly the same arithmetic
