- sarcopenia_sam — update on the earlier thing going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution 16:41
- mg_per_ml — the plateau hit me at 27 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change, for what its worth 17:25

dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters
update on the earlier thing going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution
im at 5 and stuck, did anyone break a plateau without going up
give it four weeks
i stayed on 1.7 for 6 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it
went too fast once
did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed
STEP 4 had the withdrawal arm, thats the one people quote when they talk about stopping
the plateau hit me at 27 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change, for what its worth
| Trial schedule | What most people here do | |
|---|---|---|
| Step interval | 4 weeks, fixed | 4-12 weeks, on symptoms |
| Holding | protocol deviation | normal and expected |
| Top dose | reached by design | often never reached |
| Coming down | not studied | common at maintenance |
2.4 is the ceiling
slower worked better
half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose
is the plateau at 22 weeks normal or am i doing something wrong
my 5 vial in 0.5ml gives 2mg/ml so 1 lands on 30 units, thats why i picked that volume
how long did the first 27kg take for people at the low doses
vials not pens here
coming back to this £185 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials
compounded and brand felt the same to me at 0.5, which is one person and nothing more, ask me again in a month
same dose day
i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication
not the same trial
the appetite effect faded for me around 6 months and going up fixed it for a while
held at 0.25 and lost 18lb over 16 months, slower than the trials and fine by me
if youre comparing brand to compounded, dose accuracy in the vial is the variable, not the molecule
