  • cricket_or_footy — does the seven day half life mean the last two days are weaker 12:36
  • mg_per_ml — dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters 14:16
  • mg_per_ml — STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers 16:37
MN

the trials titrated on a fixed schedule, most people here dont, worth remembering when comparing

MN

i held at 5 for 8 months and it was the best decision i made

vial units and pen clicks are different systems, mixing the two is how people end up wrong

SB

genuine question the appetite effect faded for me around 23 months and going up fixed it for a while

while im here steady state is the bit people skip, judging a new dose after eight days tells you almost nothing, i have it written down somewhere

EE

FLOW was the kidney outcomes trial and it gets quoted in here for things it didnt measure

OW

went to 2.4 and the extra suppression wasnt worth the GI for me, so i came back down

EE

i was wrong about the ceiling for a year, i thought 3 existed. it doesnt for the weight indication

OW

dose day is sunday for me only because thats when i remember, not because sunday matters

Trial scheduleWhat most people here do
Step interval4 weeks, fixed4-12 weeks, on symptoms
Holdingprotocol deviationnormal and expected
Top dosereached by designoften never reached
Coming downnot studiedcommon at maintenance
EE

the plateau hit me at 18 weeks and moved again about a month later without a dose change

MP

sorry to jump in half life is about a week so youre roughly four to five weeks to steady state on any new dose
compounded and brand felt the same to me at 1.7, which is one person and nothing more

GG

held at 2 and lost 32lb over 8 months, slower than the trials and fine by me

update on the earlier thing changed my mind on the four week rule, i think it depends entirely on how the current dose feels

did anybody find a difference between GL Biochem and pharmacy at the same 0.25

GG

my Janoshik report on the JEEP vial came back 98.1 against a certificate saying 99.2, we shall see

16 months at 2.4 and the honest summary is diminishing returns after the first half

my 10 vial in 3ml gives 8mg/ml so 0.5 lands on 30 units, thats why i picked that volume

restarted after 15 months off at a low dose and the nausea arrived exactly like the first time

what did SELECT actually measure, i see it quoted for everything

update on the earlier thing licensed ceiling for weight is 2.4 weekly, anything above that is not a licensed dose

was SURPASS-2 the one that ran to 68 weeks or am i mixing them up

MN

coming back to this compounded and brand felt the same to me at 0.5, which is one person and nothing more

MN

is there a reason to hold at 1.7 rather than going to 2.4
STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it

MP

quick one the long half life flattens the trough more than people expect, i never felt a day seven dip

FT

while im here €240 a month for compounded against what brand costs locally is why most people here use vials

MP

five week steps worked better for me than four, purely on how the second week felt

did the STEP 4 withdrawal arm show what i think it showed

MP

i stayed on 1.7 for 10 months and never went to 2.4, appetite was already where i needed it

does the licensed ceiling for weight differ from the diabetes one

MM

STEP is several trials, so saying STEP said x is usually wrong without a number after it

update on the earlier thing moving my dose day by a day or two never did anything noticeable for me

my plateau was the scale stopping while appetite stayed suppressed, which is a different problem

BS

quick one anyone compared their 5 vial dosing against the pen increments

STEP 1 ran to 68 weeks. thats the one everyone half remembers

BS

went 1 to 1.7 too fast and spent two weeks regretting it, dropped back and repeated the step

A1

how long did the first 33kg take for people at the low doses

going slow cost me nothing except time and saved me two bad weeks, thats my whole contribution
