UTC always, no seasonal adjustment, which is why evenings in australia land on the previous date

VI

sorry to jump in a day seals at 00:00 UTC and after that only a redaction touches it

sorry to jump in my first anchor is a day after my join because i joined and said nothing until the next evening, take that with a pinch of salt

MU

for the archive if you quote a date from here say UTC, the regional channels have had real confusion about it

AN

right so is there a limit on how much i can ask to be removed
i was wrong about the timestamps for ages, i assumed they shifted with summer time. they dont

AN

the automated pass runs after the day seals, not live, so you cant watch it work

no reason needed

right so can i get an export of just my own lines

AN

while im here are the timestamps local or UTC, my day looks shifted

why does the export come out as one file per channel per day

🔥7⚠️5👍5

for the archive does the automated pass strip anything besides links and emails

VI

the totals count published days only, so a missing day doesnt inflate the volume figures

policy page covers it

👍1

the timestamp confusion is the most asked thing in here and ive answered it every year since 2024

VB

Assay note: FGP lot C-4402 reported at 98.6% of label content.

the edited marker means the line was changed inside the same day, before the day sealed

👀9🧊1

nobody edits a day after it closes except to apply a redaction, thats why the typos are all still there

an edit inside the first minute is silent, after that it marks, which catches people out

you ask and it goes. you dont have to give a reason and you wont be asked for one

YY

asked for an export of my own lines and got it, a plain text bundle split by day, from memory

a redaction replaces the line and keeps its position so the conversation still reads

HH

the duplicate timestamps are real, two people typing in the same minute get the same stamp

TT

why is everything in UTC when nearly nobody here is
