do i have to give a reason for a redaction
#archive-notes 2026-04-01
the totals count published days only, so a missing day doesnt inflate the volume figures, i have it written down somewhere
a day seals at 00:00 UTC and after that only a redaction touches it
while im here renames keep the old paths working, i checked a 2024 day after the last one
my first anchor is a day after my join because i joined and said nothing until the next evening
one file per day
why does a conversation i remember on a tuesday show up on the monday
export came through
follow up the edited marker means the line was changed inside the same day, before the day sealed
how far back can a redaction request go
does renaming a channel break links to the old days
i was wrong about the timestamps for ages, i assumed they shifted with summer time. they dont
logged and sealed
you ask and it goes. you dont have to give a reason and you wont be asked for one, thats just me
is there a reason 10 months of one channel just isnt there
ok so the duplicate timestamps are real, two people typing in the same minute get the same stamp
why does my message show an edited marker, i didnt edit it
typos are load bearing
policy page covers it
quiet channels genuinely have empty days and empty pages dont get published, ymmv
the automated pass eats emails, phone numbers and anything that looks like a handle, and its aggressive
there is no window on a redaction request, any published line at any time
the redaction marker links to the policy page so nobody has to guess what happened
[edited]does a redaction remove the whole day or only the line
whats the difference between a missing day and an empty day
ah, timezone thing
UTC, always
gaps are real
