Highlights from this day
  • electrolyte_eli — is the korean clinic route cheaper than a pharmacy elsewhere 10:17
  • VialBot — Assay note: GL Biochem lot E-2205 reported at 96.8% of label content. 11:50
  • gall_bladder_gav — closer supplier, fewer flight hours, same number of customs steps. the steps are the slow part 13:17
  • hydrate_hana — the room does not treat closer as safer, and it took a few bad experiences to get us there 15:17

for the archive is it covered by insurance anywhere in the region

customs between asian countries has not been noticeably easier in anything members have reported. each border is its own border
transit inside the region ran 15 days for me, which was not faster than a longer route with a better carrier

is the korean clinic route cheaper than a pharmacy elsewhere

EE

slightly off topic but thailand and taiwan come up occasionally and we have almost no member reports from either, so i would not guess

UU

singapore was reported in here at around 400 to 600 singapore dollars a month a year or so ago, prescription only, anyway

VB

Assay note: GL Biochem lot E-2205 reported at 96.8% of label content.

⚠️8

as of about a year ago korea had the shortest path from deciding to starting of anywhere members here had described

update from 10 months ago: availability in the region is broadly the same and the prices i track are slightly higher

GB

closer supplier, fewer flight hours, same number of customs steps. the steps are the slow part

is anyone here avoiding summer shipping the way the australians do

MM

japan being expensive despite the approval is the pattern. approval sets the licence and the pricing system sets the price

singapore pricing, anyone able to put a number on it

korea and the clinic culture, is it as easy to get as people say

TT

generics being available and generics being right for your situation are different questions, and only one of them is a chat question

the honest position on india is that i have seen good material and bad material and the paperwork told me nothing either way

how careful should i be about the claims on an indian generic

TT

genuine question anyone in japan paying out of pocket and what does that look like

SS

india has a real generics manufacturing base and a real domestic market. what a specific product is, and whether it matches its label, is a separate question every single time, from memory

QH

slightly off topic but a member in hong kong and a member in singapore compared the same dose and came out about forty percent apart, not advice obviously

[edited]

japanese insurance covered the diabetes indication and not the weight one as far as anyone here could establish a year ago

VO

i was wrong about japanese pricing by a factor of two when i quoted it in here, because i was quoting a clinic and somebody else was quoting a pharmacy
