#cagrilintide 2025-01-09
- protein_floor — update on the earlier thing i said earlier this year that monotherapy did nothing for me, and at a higher dose it did something, ill dig out the number 11:44
- drawup_dee — two Janoshik results on the same WWB lot came back 99 and 98.6, closer than i expected 11:51
- drawup_dee — ok so held at 2 for 6 months on monotherapy before i touched it again 11:58
- drawup_dee — amylin is about slowed gastric emptying and satiety signalling, thats the short version and im no pharmacologist 12:00
CagriSema is cagrilintide with semaglutide and REDEFINE is the trial programme around it, happy to be corrected
monotherapy here
the reason nausea reads differently is timing, mine arrived on the second day rather than the first
is there a reason people titrate this over more weeks than the others
[edited]i titrated over twice as many weeks as i did on semaglutide and that was right for me
noticed something around week 18 on monotherapy, well after i had given up expecting to
update on the earlier thing i said earlier this year that monotherapy did nothing for me, and at a higher dose it did something, ill dig out the number
genuine question anyone holding at 10 for a while before stepping
dosing them on different days made no difference i could detect
two Janoshik results on the same WWB lot came back 99 and 98.6, closer than i expected
its an amylin analogue, different receptor family, so treating it as another GLP-1 is the first mistake
cant separate them
monotherapy was underwhelming for me and i say that as someone who wanted it to work
ok so held at 2 for 6 months on monotherapy before i touched it again
amylin is about slowed gastric emptying and satiety signalling, thats the short version and im no pharmacologist
