the fullness thing is the part people describe differently, food stops being interesting rather than repellent

- meniscus_mel — the numbers everyone quotes come from the combination, so comparing them to monotherapy logs is unfair, take that with a pinch of salt 19:44
- VialBot — Batch lookup H-2814: 4 independent reports on file, earliest 2025-04-21. 19:55
- vial_ledger — the slower titration in here is community habit as much as anything, the trials had their own schedule 20:47
- meniscus_mel — changed my mind on this, i started thinking amylin was the interesting bit and now i think its the pairing, n of 1 obviously 20:57
did the nausea feel different to you or just less
the numbers everyone quotes come from the combination, so comparing them to monotherapy logs is unfair, take that with a pinch of salt
right so monotherapy did work for me, just slower and smaller than i expected
monotherapy was underwhelming for me and i say that as someone who wanted it to work

2 in 0.5ml gives 4mg/ml which is what i use, purely because the units come out round, take that with a pinch of salt
cant separate them
how slow are people titrating this compared to cagrilintide
while im here how many weeks before you noticed anything on monotherapy
is the combination just the two dosed together or a single formulation
does the fullness effect fade the way appetite suppression does
noticed something around week 3 on monotherapy, well after i had given up expecting to
amylin not glp-1
update on the earlier thing stopped for 13 months and the fullness went within a fortnight of the last dose
for the archive is the slower titration because of nausea or something else
amylin analogue, so its not a GLP-1 at all right
[edited]anyone holding at 0.5 for a while before stepping
titrating dead slow
separate days
the slower titration in here is community habit as much as anything, the trials had their own schedule
different not less
did anyone find monotherapy underwhelming
dropped the GLP-1 and stayed on this alone for 21 months, appetite held but weight barely moved, i think
slightly off topic but weekly for me, same day every week, no reason beyond habit
changed my mind on this, i started thinking amylin was the interesting bit and now i think its the pairing, n of 1 obviously
held mine a while
[edited]i said earlier this year that monotherapy did nothing for me, and at a higher dose it did something, i could be wrong
while im here did anyone add this to an existing semaglutide dose rather than starting both
the fullness effect hasnt faded over 1 months, unlike my semaglutide appetite curve
right so i was sceptical about monotherapy and after 2 months im still sceptical, just less so
