underwhelming honestly

- amylin_amy — the fullness thing is the part people describe differently, food stops being interesting rather than repellent 22:00
- lena_lots — went slower because the first step gave me two rough days and i took that as information changed my mind on this, i started thinking amylin was the interesting bit… 22:07
- lena_lots — update on the earlier thing stopped for 9 months and the fullness went within a fortnight of the last dose, from memory 22:13
- week_three_wall — i titrated over twice as many weeks as i did on semaglutide and that was right for me 22:19
- week_three_wall — how many weeks before you noticed anything on monotherapy 22:27
unrelated but how slow are people titrating this compared to semaglutide
30 in 2.5ml gives 10mg/ml which is what i use, purely because the units come out round, for what its worth
the fullness thing is the part people describe differently, food stops being interesting rather than repellent
monotherapy did work for me, just slower and smaller than i expected
its an amylin analogue, different receptor family, so treating it as another GLP-1 is the first mistake, not advice obviously
slower than the others
went slower because the first step gave me two rough days and i took that as information
changed my mind on this, i started thinking amylin was the interesting bit and now i think its the pairing
held at 1.7 for 3 months on monotherapy before i touched it again
update on the earlier thing stopped for 9 months and the fullness went within a fortnight of the last dose, from memory
how do people separate which of the two is doing what in a combination
i titrated over twice as many weeks as i did on semaglutide and that was right for me
added it to an existing semaglutide dose rather than starting both, which made attribution possible
*VendorInvestigate not the other one
is the slower titration because of nausea or something else
[edited]how many weeks before you noticed anything on monotherapy
is the nausea profile genuinely different or am i imagining it
different not less
lost 71lb over 19 months on the combination and i genuinely cannot apportion it
did the nausea feel different to you or just less
CagriSema is cagrilintide with semaglutide and REDEFINE is the trial programme around it
did anyone find monotherapy underwhelming
separate days
i was sceptical about monotherapy and after 12 months im still sceptical, just less so
is the combination just the two dosed together or a single formulation
nobody should copy my schedule, im describing it because people asked what a slow ramp looks like
monotherapy was underwhelming for me and i say that as someone who wanted it to work
is there a reason people titrate this over more weeks than the others
monotherapy here
titrating dead slow
thats the phase 3 one
you cannot tell which of the two is doing what in a combination and i stopped pretending i could
held mine a while
combination for me
cagrisema thats it
fullness rather than nausea
i keep the two on separate days so if something goes wrong i have a chance of knowing which
noticed something around week 26 on monotherapy, well after i had given up expecting to
