nobody here can tell you what your plan covers. plans differ inside the same province, never mind between them

TF

as of when i last checked, some provinces covered the diabetes indication and none i knew of covered weight outright

TF

i was wrong in here about a province covering it, i had read about a pilot programme and assumed it was policy

an ontario member reported around 350 canadian dollars a month at a pharmacy in 2024. one price at one dose, from memory

SH

the canada to us gap was reported at roughly a third to a half of the us price a year or two ago, and that will have moved

SH

does the postal service or the courier handle winter better

LL

a lyophilised vial that froze in transit is almost certainly fine. a reconstituted one that froze is a different matter

TF

spring ordering is easier and if you can wait, waiting is free

the difference between a diabetes diagnosis and a weight indication was the whole story in every province i read about

LL

postal handled winter better than the courier for me, mostly because the courier van sat outside for hours

the depot delay in winter runs longer than in summer and that is the part people do not plan for

VB

Verification log updated: KP — evidence added, status unchanged.

SL

canadian pharmacies stocked it reliably in the periods members reported on, better than the uk did at the same time

ST

a frozen and thawed reconstituted vial is the one thing i would not use, and i cannot point you at a study for that

😂7

any figure in this channel is dated. canadian pricing and coverage both moved while i was reading about them, someone check my working

VI

freeze thaw cycling is the concern rather than one freeze, and that is my read of it rather than a lab result, i have it written down somewhere

VI

an alberta member and a nova scotia member compared notes and neither of them could believe the other one

VI

i had a parcel sit in an unheated depot at minus eighteen for two days and the powder tested fine

quebec has its own drug plan and it worked differently from the rest in everything i read a year ago
