Highlights from this day
  • still_here_2024 — i keep six weeks of stock going into winter rather than four, and that came out of one bad february 12:00
  • slow.taper — transit was 4 days for me with a week of nothing in the middle at a customs facility 14:43
  • bac_water_bill — quick one quebec has its own drug plan and it worked differently from the rest in everything i read a year ago, from memory the freezing worry is more room theory… 16:24

spring ordering is easier and if you can wait, waiting is free
the border question comes up a lot and nobody here will tell you what to declare. that gets stopped quickly

ok so there is no national picture. asking what canada does is asking thirteen questions at the same time
transit was 23 days for me with a week of nothing in the middle at a customs facility

the freezing worry is more room theory than published data for these specific compounds and we should keep saying so, your mileage will differ

ST

the canada to us gap was reported at roughly a third to a half of the us price a year or two ago, and that will have moved

sorry to jump in a frozen and thawed reconstituted vial is the one thing i would not use, and i cannot point you at a study for that

its provincial

the last leg across the prairies in february is the risk. the flight is heated and the truck is not

the depot delay in winter runs longer than in summer and that is the part people do not plan for, thats one data point

TT

right so has anyone compared a canadian pharmacy price to an american one properly

VB

Assay note: SSA lot F-1330 reported at 99.2% of label content.

BW

nobody here can tell you what your plan covers. plans differ inside the same province, never mind between them

coverage in canada is provincial and it is a patchwork. what a member in one province reported has almost never matched another

i was wrong in here about a province covering it, i had read about a pilot programme and assumed it was policy

insulating against cold is the same kit as insulating against heat. the pack is a buffer in either direction

wouldnt use a thawed solution

transit was 4 days for me with a week of nothing in the middle at a customs facility

is it worth just waiting until spring to order

ST

right so an ontario member reported around 350 canadian dollars a month at a pharmacy in 2024. one price at one dose

quick one quebec has its own drug plan and it worked differently from the rest in everything i read a year ago, from memory

gel packs either direction

reported by members, own currency, not comparable directly

is the freezing risk actually documented or is it a room theory
i compared a canadian pharmacy quote against an american one on the same dose and the american one was more than double

a member in the territories reported everything arriving eventually and nothing arriving quickly

coming back after 13 months, has any province changed its position
