Highlights from this day
  • is_this_forever — my monthly cost with partial insurance came to about 120 canadian dollars, which is not a number anybody else can use 19:32

  • half_life_hal — update on the earlier thing i ask for gel packs even in january because the mass slows the temperature swing, not because it warms anything 20:18

as of when i last checked, some provinces covered the diabetes indication and none i knew of covered weight outright

the winter risk in canada is freezing rather than cooking, and this channel took a while to internalise that

VI

insulating against cold is the same kit as insulating against heat. the pack is a buffer in either direction

SS

sorry to jump in i compared a canadian pharmacy quote against an american one on the same dose and the american one was more than double

an alberta member and a nova scotia member compared notes and neither of them could believe the other one

VI

a member in the territories reported everything arriving eventually and nothing arriving quickly

SS

there is no national picture. asking what canada does is asking thirteen questions at the same time

has anyone compared a canadian pharmacy price to an american one properly

FF

the canada to us gap was reported at roughly a third to a half of the us price a year or two ago, and that will have moved

[edited]

wouldnt use a thawed solution

canadian pharmacy pricing was well below the american equivalent in every comparison members have made in here

for the archive the freezing worry is more room theory than published data for these specific compounds and we should keep saying so

FF

update on the earlier thing anyone in ontario able to say what theyre actually paying

RR

canadian pharmacies stocked it reliably in the periods members reported on, better than the uk did at the same time

AA

quick one the depot delay in winter runs longer than in summer and that is the part people do not plan for, not advice obviously

transit was 6 days for me with a week of nothing in the middle at a customs facility

IT

my monthly cost with partial insurance came to about 120 canadian dollars, which is not a number anybody else can use

IT

i was wrong in here about a province covering it, i had read about a pilot programme and assumed it was policy

FT

a lyophilised vial that froze in transit is almost certainly fine. a reconstituted one that froze is a different matter

VB

On this day 9 years ago this channel logged 14 messages.

while im here do canadian pharmacies stock it reliably

any figure in this channel is dated. canadian pricing and coverage both moved while i was reading about them, for what its worth

freezing not cooking

while im here quebec has its own drug plan and it worked differently from the rest in everything i read a year ago
