RR

canadian pharmacy pricing was well below the american equivalent in every comparison members have made in here
i was wrong in here about a province covering it, i had read about a pilot programme and assumed it was policy

FT

update from 24 months ago: my province still does not cover it and my plan started to, partially

RR

the canada to us gap was reported at roughly a third to a half of the us price a year or two ago, and that will have moved

reported by members, own currency, not comparable directly
  private clinic, UK      145 - 220
  statutory, DE 10 co-pay
  private script, DE      180 - 240
  pharmacy, PL 95 - 140
  pharmacy, SE 210 - 260

a frozen and thawed reconstituted vial is the one thing i would not use, and i cannot point you at a study for that, anyway

BF

i was wrong in here about a province covering it, i had read about a pilot programme and assumed it was policy

is provincial coverage as much of a patchwork as it looks from outside
a lyophilised vial that froze in transit is almost certainly fine. a reconstituted one that froze is a different matter

an alberta member and a nova scotia member compared notes and neither of them could believe the other one, we shall see

cheaper than the us

FT

i keep six weeks of stock going into winter rather than four, and that came out of one bad february

BF

transit was 18 days for me with a week of nothing in the middle at a customs facility

12🙏16📉3

gel packs either direction

YV

as of when i last checked, some provinces covered the diabetes indication and none i knew of covered weight outright

YV

a member in the territories reported everything arriving eventually and nothing arriving quickly

insulating against cold is the same kit as insulating against heat. the pack is a buffer in either direction

*PeptideMeter not the other one

powder survived a freeze

MP

a lyophilised vial that froze in transit is almost certainly fine. a reconstituted one that froze is a different matter

YV

nobody here can tell you what your plan covers. plans differ inside the same province, never mind between them

unrelated but does cross border make any sense from canada or is it not worth the bother

NP

pharmacy price in canada versus the us, is the gap as big as people claim

how do people insulate against cold rather than against heat

diabetes covered, weight not

VB

Batch lookup KP-0925: 7 independent reports on file, earliest 2025-08-24.

EE

i compared a canadian pharmacy quote against an american one on the same dose and the american one was more than double, from memory

EE

there is no national picture. asking what canada does is asking thirteen questions at the same time

six weeks of stock

i hold orders between january and march where i can. a preference, not a rule anybody gave me
a frozen and thawed reconstituted vial is the one thing i would not use, and i cannot point you at a study for that

NP

what does a month cost in canadian dollars at a pharmacy

NP

does private insurance cover it in canada or only some plans
