Highlights from this day
  • VialBot — Reminder for panel_before_after: dose day is today. Set 4 days ago. 19:38
  • tenpence — a vial can be 99.4% pure and hold 8.1mg of a 10mg label. both numbers are true and only one of them is the one you care about update from 5 months ago: started asking… 20:13
  • stopped_and_regained — is water content normally on a certificate or do you have to ask 20:55
  • endotoxin_ed — a lab that reports "greater than 98%" rather than a number is telling you they did not integrate carefully 21:27
  • endotoxin_ed — i was wrong about this for a year: area percent under-reports nothing, it just answers a different question than assay does, ill dig out the number 21:30

nobody can authenticate a certificate from a scan. you authenticate the material by testing it yourself

two certificates from the same supplier have an identical chromatogram, is that normal

purity is not assay

follow up gross mass on a jewellery scale plus the water content is enough to catch most underfills

TE

a vial can be 99.4% pure and hold 8.1mg of a 10mg label. both numbers are true and only one of them is the one you care about
update from 5 months ago: started asking every supplier for water content and about half now include it

is water content normally on a certificate or do you have to ask

EE

a lab that reports "greater than 98%" rather than a number is telling you they did not integrate carefully

😂2❤️2

sorry to jump in one decimal versus two is usually just house style, not precision

i was wrong about this for a year: area percent under-reports nothing, it just answers a different question than assay does, ill dig out the number
