Highlights from this day
  • two_four_ceiling — i asked TFC for the method and they sent it. that alone put them ahead of most, ymmv 19:41
  • two_four_ceiling — the honest summary is that a certificate tells you what the supplier says about a lot they chose to test 20:01
  • bac_water_bill — the certificate from HJ is the one i use to teach this because it actually has a populated impurity table 21:23
TF

follow up nobody can authenticate a certificate from a scan. you authenticate the material by testing it yourself

sloppy not sinister

if you only read one line on a certificate, read the lot number. if you read two, read the assay

test it yourself

BW

unrelated but sterility and endotoxin are separate tests and almost nobody runs either on research material

BW

slightly off topic but the retention time on this one is different from the last lot, problem

*Medutest not the other one

BW

the certificate from HJ is the one i use to teach this because it actually has a populated impurity table

the paperwork can be perfect and the vial can still be light. weigh it
