i hold for two months minimum before i decide a dose has stopped doing anything, no medal for the top
is there any consensus on how long to sit

- per_mg_pete — is there any consensus on how long to sit at the top before calling it maintenance 22:12
came down from a treatment dose to maintenance over about three months and it was uneventful
my titration went like this plateau versus set point is not answerable in under six months of data, symptoms not calendar
what do people do when a step is fine but the one before it was not, asking because two people told me different things
thats huge, went too fast once
i kept a one line note per week. the pattern was obvious at three months and invisible at three weeks
hold
[edited]to close the loop on my step my top step is not the label top step and there is no prize for reaching either one, from my written notes
the honest answer to how long to hold is until something changes, and nobody likes that answer, thats what i did, not what you should
the label ladder is a schedule that suited a trial protocol and it is not a law of nature
having done this twice do people tell their prescriber before they hold or only afterwards, i can post the details
dropping back a rung was the right call for me and it cost me nothing except a few weeks, holding is still a decision
