appetite returning at the end of the week is extremely common and is not the dose failing, i am not recommending it
steady state is roughly five half lives

- quiet_head_qi — steady state is roughly five half lives, so about five weeks with a weekly compound 14:13
with a roughly seven day half-life you are near steady state after about five weeks at a dose, for me anyway
dose day drift is mostly harmless with a weekly compound, but pick a day and defend it, i would do it slower again
splitting the weekly is a real thing people do and the evidence for it in here is entirely anecdotal, happy to be corrected
i held at 1mg for four months and only moved because the plateau lasted six weeks, not because a chart said to, n of 1 and i will keep saying it
on the ladder thing again how do you decide between holding and dropping when a week goes badly
came down, reporting back my rule: if a side effect is still there at day five, i hold. if it clears by day three, i step, from my written notes
four weeks per step is a convention, not a law of nature, and plenty of people sit longer, that was a slow climb
slightly off topic but holding is a decision. it is not failing to make one, holding is still a decision
plateau versus set point is not answerable in under six months of data, i am not recommending it
i planned the whole ladder on paper and then ignored half of it, which is probably the honest version, no medal for the top
is week 5 too early to be thinking about the next step
