- lead_time_lars — a member in spain said their pharmacy price was lower than germany when they compared in 2024, and i cannot verify that 12:19
- lead_time_lars — slightly off topic but netherlands was reported in here at around 200 euros a month out of pocket a year or so ago, with conditions attached to any reimbursement 12:50
- lead_time_lars — anyone in the netherlands able to say what theyre paying the language barrier with support is real. i write in short plain english and it works better than good… 14:36
unrelated but a swedish member put their monthly cost at roughly double what a polish member was paying, as of last year
how far ahead do people order given transit inside the eu
as of about a year ago statutory cover in germany for weight indications still was not there, so check before quoting me on it
ema approval means licensed but not that anyone pays for it, is that the right way round
slightly off topic but poland pricing, has anyone compared it against germany
in germany the split is privat versus kasse. a private prescription means you pay the pharmacy price yourself and when i checked last year that was a lot
*that should say weekly
a member reported reimbursement under a national scheme for diabetes and flatly not for weight, and that was the pattern across several countries
[edited]write simple english
three working days
nordic prices look brutal, is that real or is that just what gets reported
is the price the same across pharmacies in a country or does it vary a lot
check the date on that
what does privat versus kassenrezept mean in money terms
prices moved since
privat means you pay
anyone compared the price for the same dose in two eu countries properly
while im here vat on imports from outside the eu applied from a very low threshold when i last imported, and the carrier handling fee was bigger than the vat
Reminder set. I will post here in 4 days.

that is the thing people get wrong constantly. approved and paid for are two completely different processes in the eu
ok so update from 7 months ago: nothing changed on reimbursement where i am and the price went up anyway
ema approval is a licence, not a payment decision. every member state decides reimbursement separately and they do not agree with each other
[edited]varies by pharmacy
handling fee is worse than vat
crossing a border to buy it happens and people are quiet about it, which tells you how comfortable they are with it
has anyone crossed a border specifically to buy it
no local insurance means the pharmacy price, full stop, in every country a member has reported from, we shall see
my last customs bill was about twenty two percent of declared value plus a fixed handling charge that hurt more than the tax did
the cheapest eu route a member found was a local pharmacy with a local prescription, which is no help if you have neither
anyone in the netherlands able to say what theyre paying
the language barrier with support is real. i write in short plain english and it works better than good english does
*Janoshik not the other one
cross border in theory
for the archive is there anywhere in the eu where this is actually cheap
genuine question nordic pricing genuinely was higher in every comparison i have seen here, and the incomes are higher too, which people forget, i have it written down somewhere
the language thing improved a lot when i stopped using idioms, and that was the actual fix, thats one data point
any figure in this channel should be read as the month somebody typed it, not as the price today
anyone in sweden or denmark want to compare notes
nobody here can tell you what is legal in your country and the mods stop that conversation early
diabetes yes weight no
send both languages
that was 2024 pricing
the language barrier with support is real. i write in short plain english and it works better than good english does
