Highlights from this day
  • is_this_forever — how much lean mass did people lose and how did they even know 17:52
  • meal_prep_mick — alcohol hitting harder is one of the most consistent reports in this channel. two drinks feels like five 19:31
  • sharps_comedy — greek yoghurt, cottage cheese, whey in milk. that is most of my protein and none of it needs chewing 20:23
  • taper_or_not — dexa twice a year if you can afford it. the cheap scale will tell you a new story every day and none of them are true 20:42
  • sharps_comedy — small portions six times a day is how i get to 130 grams on a bad week 20:58

cold food is easier. i eat a lot of things at fridge temperature now and i cannot explain why that helps

prep in portions a third of the size you think you need. big containers go in the bin uneaten

HI

update from 20 months ago: fixed my protein, the fatigue lifted, and i cannot prove those two are connected

WW

the room is quite firm about eating enough and i think that is the best thing about this channel, anyway

P2

if you are at 700 calories a day that is the thing to fix before anything else. please eat more

P2

two proper resistance sessions a week is what the room settled on. three if you can manage it

whats everyone doing for fibre because im struggling badly with it

anyone tracked their protein properly for a week and been shocked by the number

at 90kg and 1.6 per kg you are looking at 144 grams. i have never once hit it on a bad appetite week, i think

TO

i weigh my protein sources for a week every few months to recalibrate, because the estimates drift badly

coffee on an empty stomach with slowed gastric emptying is a rough combination. i eat something first now

a shake is food

how much lean mass did people lose and how did they even know

💀4👀8🧊1

i front load protein. 40 grams at breakfast because by the evening i cannot face any of it

PP

is a protein shake cheating or is it just food
protein per meal matters more than per day once you are eating tiny amounts. i aim for 30 grams a sitting

P2

the calorie floor question is the right one to ask. i would not go under 1200 without somebody keeping an eye on me
small portions six times a day is how i get to 130 grams on a bad week

P2

does the room think about protein per meal or per day

HI

what did people try for constipation food wise before reaching for pills

HI

genuinely, eat more. nobody here will congratulate you for 700 calories and we have all watched somebody get hurt by it

HI

a tin of tuna, a pot of yoghurt and a shake is 60 grams and about four minutes of work

MP

i lost 32 and about a fifth of it was lean by dexa, and that was with lifting the whole way through

alcohol hitting harder is one of the most consistent reports in this channel. two drinks feels like five

SC

greek yoghurt, cottage cheese, whey in milk. that is most of my protein and none of it needs chewing

SC

i was wrong about protein for a year. i thought losing my appetite meant i should eat less. it does not, we shall see

*i meant subcutaneous

TO

dexa twice a year if you can afford it. the cheap scale will tell you a new story every day and none of them are true

🤝155

how do you eat enough when youre full after four bites

SC

im eating maybe 700 calories a day without trying and i know thats wrong, where do i start

SC

small portions six times a day is how i get to 130 grams on a bad week

TO

i lift three times a week and my lifts dropped about ten percent while losing, then came back up
