PS

coming back to this anyone inject in the back of the arm on their own successfully

let it dry

genuine question i have eight sites and an eight week rotation. it is written on the fridge

TT

unrelated but drawing up with the same pin you inject with is fine, it just dulls the tip slightly

CS

nobody here should be telling you where to inject. we can tell you what we do

VB

Digest for the week of 2025-07-19 has been published.

CS

update from 24 months ago: switched to a fixed rotation and the site reactions stopped

TT

bleeding a little means you nicked a small vessel. it is not a technique failure

VB

New independent result logged — WXT, lot G-0641, purity 96.8% (Janoshik).

a fresh pin for the injection hurts less. whether thats worth the extra dead space is your call

PS

do you pinch or stretch
i changed nothing except letting the swab dry and the stinging stopped completely

U1

ok so a proper sharps bin costs almost nothing and pharmacies will take it back

U1

how do you avoid hitting the same spot twice when the marks fade

welts at the site are usually a mild local reaction and rotation sorts it

if you are getting a lot of bruising, look at how fast you are pushing before you blame the needle
