drawing up with the same pin you inject with is fine, it just dulls the tip slightly

does injecting a cold vial hurt more or am i imagining it
do not reuse pins. it is not about sterility so much as the tip being blunt after one pass
absorption differences between subcutaneous sites are small for a weekly compound
follow up a small air bubble subcutaneously is not dangerous. it costs you dose accuracy, thats the reason to clear it
31G in 8mm or 12.7mm for abdomen
slightly off topic but let the alcohol dry. that is ninety percent of "my injections sting"
bleeding a little means you nicked a small vessel. it is not a technique failure
welts at the site are usually a mild local reaction and rotation sorts it
90 degrees works fine if you have the tissue for it. 45 if you do not, your mileage will differ
how slowly should you actually push
coming back after 18 months, has the pinned technique guide changed
31G 8mm for everything. i tried the 12.7mm once and never went back
let it dry
Recon calculator: 30mg in 1.5ml = 4mg/ml.
45 degrees
nobody here should be telling you where to inject. we can tell you what we do
pinch, 45 degrees, count to five, withdraw slowly. two years and almost no bruising
try the thigh
i inject the back of my own arm and it is awkward but doable with a mirror
do not aspirate for a subcutaneous injection, there is nothing to aspirate for
warming the vial in your hand for a minute is the cheapest comfort improvement there is
dont recap
do you aspirate, or is that only an intramuscular thing
*that should say weekly
push slowly. fast is what causes the ache afterwards
31G 8mm for everything. i tried the 12.7mm once and never went back
if you are getting a lot of bruising, look at how fast you are pushing before you blame the needle
fresh pin
31G 8mm
90 degrees or 45
the needle went in fine but it stung going in, alcohol or the compound
i have eight sites and an eight week rotation. it is written on the fridge
small bubble is fine
i keep the sharps bin next to the fridge so the whole thing happens in one place, someone check my working
