Highlights from this day
  • dana_titrates — chain of custody in hobby testing is weak and we say so in every writeup, someone check my working 18:07
  • thyroid_thea — a code and a lot number on the syringe in permanent marker. that is the whole labelling requirement 18:34
  • dana_titrates — ok so do you want the vial reconstituted or as powder 18:40
  • thyroid_thea — i coordinate the round, collect the codes, and post every result including the dull ones, i could be wrong 19:15
  • truncation_tru — quantity is the test worth paying for. purity is usually fine and fill usually is not 19:58
DT

powder if you can. reconstituted travels worse and adds a variable we cannot control

DT

chain of custody in hobby testing is weak and we say so in every writeup, someone check my working

DT

i keep half the sample back so there is something to send if the first one goes missing

TT

a code and a lot number on the syringe in permanent marker. that is the whole labelling requirement

turnaround has been between 26 days and twice that depending on the queue

DT

two labs on the same lot is a luxury but it is how we learned what inter-lab variance looks like

TT

quantity is the test worth paying for. purity is usually fine and fill usually is not

TM

a pooled result tells you about the pool. it does not tell you about your vial

declare it as an analytical reference sample with a low value. that is what it is

whats the current turnaround, last one took 18 days

GG

we have never had a lab mix up a sample. we have had members mix up their own labelling twice
