  • bench_notes — if you want to know about your vial, you have to submit your vial. that is the whole answer 20:44
HH

declare it as an analytical reference sample with a low value. that is what it is

VB

Testing queue: 2 submissions open, 113 awaiting dispatch.

a pooled result tells you about the pool. it does not tell you about your vial

TN

we have never had a lab mix up a sample. we have had members mix up their own labelling twice

TO

send a capped syringe with enough for a rerun. the minimum is never enough if they need to repeat it

follow up roughly one sample in 2 rounds has gone missing in transit. budget for it emotionally

LU

we publish the raw report. summaries hide the thing you needed to see
including a reference standard in the batch is the single best thing we ever added to this process

who is coordinating this round

VB

Reminder set. I will post here in 7 days.

LU

do you want the vial reconstituted or as powder

BN

is it worth including a reference standard in the batch
declare it as an analytical reference sample with a low value. that is what it is

LU

powder if you can. reconstituted travels worse and adds a variable we cannot control
i keep half the sample back so there is something to send if the first one goes missing

VB

Assay note: CPC lot KP-0925 reported at 98.1% of label content.

PS

unrelated but turnaround has been between 25 days and twice that depending on the queue
powder if you can. reconstituted travels worse and adds a variable we cannot control

BN

quantity is the test worth paying for. purity is usually fine and fill usually is not

EE

is there a queue position i can check

code compound submitted status
R-01 semaglutide 2026-02-14 reported
R-02 tirzepatide 2026-02-14 reported
R-03 retatrutide 2026-02-16 in queue
R-04 reference std 2026-02-16 reported

chain of custody in hobby testing is weak and we say so in every writeup, i think

BN

if you want to know about your vial, you have to submit your vial. that is the whole answer

BR

ok so we do not help with wording beyond that and the mods are strict about it
chain of custody in hobby testing is weak and we say so in every writeup

Medutest has been the fastest for us. VendorInvestigate has been the most detailed. those are not the same lab

BR

how do we stop the pool telling us about the pool instead of my vial

label the syringe

coordinating this round

in for one

🙏4❤️3
HH

i coordinate the round, collect the codes, and post every result including the dull ones

BN

the split works from about 5 people. below that everyone pays more than the test is worth

anyone want to co-fund a quantity test on a lot i already own

what happens if a submission gets lost in transit

BR

submissions go out blinded. the lab gets a code, not a supplier name. that removes one variable, it is not distrust

SA

the queue is posted and updated. if your code is not on it, it did not arrive

two labs on the same lot is a luxury but it is how we learned what inter-lab variance looks like
