Highlights from this day
  • protein_floor — coming back after 4 months of maintenance, is anyone interested in the numbers 20:09
  • bo_bloodwork — does anyone budget for maintenance being cheaper or is it the same £72 a month 21:07
  • patent_2026 — regain after stopping is the expected outcome, which is a horrible sentence and also what the data says cost did not drop at maintenance for me because i went to a… 21:58

how much regain did people get in the first 1 months after stopping

SH

is a maintenance dose a real clinical thing or something we invented between us

PF

how do you decide youre actually at maintenance rather than just stalled

TT

resistance training two or three times a week is what the room converged on and it is not glamorous

come down slower than that

NP

two or three kilos up and down is normal fluctuation. ten is a different conversation, your mileage will differ

[edited]

lower frequency maintenance is genuinely unstudied. anybody telling you it is proven is making that up

follow up the honest answer to is this forever is that nobody knows and the drug only works while you are taking it, thats one data point

whats your rule for when a fluctuation becomes a regain

im at goal and nobody has told me what happens next, whats the room doing

there is no official maintenance dose. it is a thing we do because the alternative on the table was stopping

PF

anyone tried every ten days or every fortnight as a maintenance schedule

i tried to come down and could not hold it, went back to treatment dose, and stopped apologising for it

how much protein were people eating at maintenance compared to while losing

coming back after 4 months of maintenance, is anyone interested in the numbers

PF

cost did not drop at maintenance for me because i went to a lower dose from the same vial and just used it slower

im holding at 0.25 for maintenance and wondering whether i should be lower
protein went up during maintenance for me rather than down, which was completely counterintuitive

i went to every ten days at a low dose and it held for me. n of 1, and i keep saying that out loud

BB

stopped 2 months ago and put 28 back on, what did people do at that point
i was wrong about maintenance being the easy part and i had said so loudly for a year beforehand

BB

the maintenance conversation barely existed in here two years ago and now it is half the channel, ill dig out the number

BB

does anyone budget for maintenance being cheaper or is it the same £72 a month

SL

holidays at maintenance are fine, i take the dose on the day and stop thinking about it
there is no official maintenance dose. it is a thing we do because the alternative on the table was stopping

went back up, no regrets

VB

Inter-lab diff for lot A-2418: 99.2% vs 98.6%. Within expected range.

P2

i set a trigger weight instead of a target. if i cross it i go up a rung. that is my entire plan, ill dig out the number

TT

i came off for four months, put 72 back on, and came back. no drama in it, just numbers, happy to be corrected

is this forever or is that just how it feels at month 13

P2

regain after stopping is the expected outcome, which is a horrible sentence and also what the data says
cost did not drop at maintenance for me because i went to a lower dose from the same vial and just used it slower

TA

if you find maintenance harder than the losing part you are in the majority in this room, your mileage will differ

P2

still at maintenance
