Highlights from this day
  • split_dose_sam — i came off for four months, put 60 back on, and came back. no drama in it, just numbers 01:29
  • gip_glp_gil — coming down too fast was my mistake. top rung to the bottom rung inside a month and it was a bad month 02:17
  • rotate_the_site — whats a realistic amount of regain to accept rather than panic about the maintenance conversation barely existed in here two years ago and now it is half the channel 02:59

update from 17 months ago: still at maintenance, still boring, which was always the goal

i tried to come down and could not hold it, went back to treatment dose, and stopped apologising for it

SD

appetite came back over about three weeks after i reduced, not all at once, which is what i had braced for, thats just me

resistance training two or three times a week is what the room converged on and it is not glamorous

Inter-lab diff for lot E-2205: 99% vs 97.4%. Within expected range.

everybody i have seen stop and hold it did something else as well, without exception in my time here

i put 34 back on after stopping and then went back on it. it worked the same the second time round

stopped 18 months ago and put 21 back on, what did people do at that point

thats SURMOUNT-OSA

coming down too fast was my mistake. top rung to the bottom rung inside a month and it was a bad month

📈15🔥4

does anyone budget for maintenance being cheaper or is it the same £38 a month

i set a trigger weight instead of a target. if i cross it i go up a rung. that is my entire plan

GG

is a maintenance dose a real clinical thing or something we invented between us

TT

if you find maintenance harder than the losing part you are in the majority in this room

am i the only one finding maintenance harder than losing was

set a trigger weight

CO

quick one coming back after 26 months of maintenance, is anyone interested in the numbers

GG

i think about it the way i think about my blood pressure tablet, and that framing helped me more than anything else

SS

there is no official maintenance dose. it is a thing we do because the alternative on the table was stopping

CO

STEP 4 is the one where they stopped and it came back isnt it, has anyone read the actual numbers

did your maintenance dose end up higher or lower than you expected it to

😂14

regain after stopping is the expected outcome, which is a horrible sentence and also what the data says, n of 1 obviously

🙏2
TT

anyone gone off entirely and stayed off successfully

[edited]

no official dose

follow up the muscle question is the one i wish i had taken seriously at month two instead of month twelve
everybody i have seen stop and hold it did something else as well, without exception in my time here

mine held

KF

how do you decide youre actually at maintenance rather than just stalled

KF

slightly off topic but cost did not drop at maintenance for me because i went to a lower dose from the same vial and just used it slower

quick one if i go back up after regain does it work the same the second time
