for the archive somebody said the easy way thing to me and i just said it was not easy and changed the subject. it worked fine

my relationship with eating was the thing i managed and now i dont know what im managing

i spent twenty years negotiating with myself about food and then the negotiation just stopped, and that took months to sit with, i think

the identity part is the hardest thing about this and it gets talked about least, which is backwards

FM

it is a loss as well as a relief and you are allowed to say both of those things

is anyone else more anxious about running out than about any side effect

[edited]

coming back to this if all you managed today was the dose and some water, that counts and i mean that

youre not a fraud

FN

i read every twinge as something serious for the first three months and it does settle down

comments about my body were harder to take than any side effect and nobody warns you about it

TS

i came back at month 16 to say thank you and got a much warmer response than i expected

hold on if you can. week three is not the whole experience and a lot of us nearly stopped right there, thats one data point

same at week 5

the running out anxiety is real and worth naming. i keep a spare month in the fridge and i sleep better for it

AD

the disorienting bit for me was realising how much of my day had been spent thinking about the next meal

that was me too

AA

you are not the only person in here who has felt that, and i say that as somebody who was certain they were, not advice obviously

IT

feeling more emotional generally came up for me too and i took that to my gp rather than to a channel

ok so the shame eased when i stopped thinking of it as a shortcut and started thinking of it as treatment

anxious every time i go up a dose, is that a known thing or just me

IT

did the flatness lift on its own or did people have to do something about it
the escalation nerves got smaller each time for me but they never went away entirely

PM

im ashamed of needing a medication for this and i cant seem to shake it
