thinking of you
youre not alone in that
the fraud feeling faded for me somewhere around the point i had kept it off longer than i took to lose it
coming back to this the plateau nearly ended it for me. what got me through was logging something other than my weight
thats grief honestly
it is a loss as well as a relief and you are allowed to say both of those things
for the archive nobody in this room thinks less of you for needing a medication. genuinely nobody
does the quiet in your head ever feel like a loss rather than a relief
i am kinder to myself now than i was when i was heavier, and that is not because of the number
does anyone talk to somebody professionally about this side of it
nobody says you took the easy way about a blood pressure tablet, and i keep that sentence ready for when i need it
how do you stop reading every twinge as something serious
how do you handle a partner who is not pleased about you doing this
update from 16 months ago: the flatness lifted, slowly, and i did not have to change anything to make it
that was me too
the quiet is strange isnt it
update from 25 months ago: the flatness lifted, slowly, and i did not have to change anything to make it, for what its worth
we are a chat channel. good company, not clinicians, and it matters that we keep saying so
mood dipped hard around week 30, did that lift for anyone
is anyone else more anxious about running out than about any side effect
flat is the word i used too. not sad exactly, just less colour in things for a while
the disorienting bit for me was realising how much of my day had been spent thinking about the next meal
i read every twinge as something serious for the first three months and it does settle down
i built a whole personality around being the one who cooks and now i barely eat, does that pass
did the flatness lift on its own or did people have to do something about it
