im at month 24 and doing well and feel strangely sad about it, is that a thing
youre not a fraud
i cook more now than i used to, i just eat less of it, and that compromise saved that part of me
nobody says you took the easy way about a blood pressure tablet, and i keep that sentence ready for when i need it
has anyone else felt oddly flat since the appetite went
how do you tell family youre on this without getting a lecture back
we are a chat channel. good company, not clinicians, and it matters that we keep saying so
you are not the only person in here who has felt that, and i say that as somebody who was certain they were
the disorienting bit for me was realising how much of my day had been spent thinking about the next meal
that was me too
while im here mood dipped hard around week 10, did that lift for anyone
the shame eased when i stopped thinking of it as a shortcut and started thinking of it as treatment
i get anxious the night before a dose increase, so i take it in the morning now and sleep first
sorry to jump in flat is the word i used too. not sad exactly, just less colour in things for a while
did the flatness lift on its own or did people have to do something about it
my partner was not pleased at first and came round. what changed it was my blood pressure, not any argument i made
the food noise going quiet is the thing people are least prepared for. i sat in the kitchen at 8pm not knowing what i was for, your mileage will differ
hold on if you can. week three is not the whole experience and a lot of us nearly stopped right there
i get anxious the night before a dose increase, so i take it in the morning now and sleep first
that counts
the identity part is the hardest thing about this and it gets talked about least, which is backwards
while im here is anyone else more anxious about running out than about any side effect
