Highlights from this day
  • luerlok — my oral results were inconsistent week to week and i eventually decided it was me, not the tablet 20:48
  • subq_sy — orforglipron is a small molecule rather than a peptide, which is why the fasting conditions differ 21:11

DO

the fasting window is the difference between a dose and a very expensive tablet

SB

did anyone get consistent results on the oral or is it always patchy

how strict is the 30 minute wait before food for people here

is orforglipron a peptide at all

DO

switched from injectable to oral, lost some of the effect, switched back after 5 months

not a peptide

is there any point splitting an oral dose

SNAC does the work

DO

coffee is not plain water. i tried it for a month and my results got worse

SS

unrelated but roughly one percent gets absorbed, which is why the tablet strength looks nothing like an injectable dose

😂5

the oral mg number is bigger because almost none of it gets in, thats the entire reason

SS

orforglipron is a small molecule rather than a peptide, which is why the fasting conditions differ

🙏5👍7

the fasting rule cost me my breakfast routine and thats the real reason people quit the oral

LU

the oral disappointed me on the mornings i couldnt manage 30 minutes fasted, which was most of them, n of 1 obviously

does taking it with any food at all just waste the dose
absorption is the variable, not the molecule. same tablet, different morning, different result

*Medutest not the other one

i keep the tablet by the kettle so i take it before i think about food

SB

coming back to this lost 23kg over 22 months on oral, slower than my injectable stretch, i stuck with it anyway

SS

i said 17 months ago that my oral results were random, they got consistent once i fixed the water

plain water only, about half a glass, then nothing for 30 minutes. i follow it exactly

went back to injecting because the morning routine was too fragile around shift work

genuine question is the absorption variability why the oral doses look so high

oral was easier on my gut than injecting at what felt like a similar effect, which surprised me
