about the reference again if the reference gets stripped, email the supplier the transaction id. every one of them handles that daily
a supplier who confirms receipt in writing is doing the thing that prevents most of these threads

sorted, reporting back never post a transaction id or an address in the channel. take it to the supplier directly, polite message fixed it
