payment question a quote held for a fortnight for me and i would not assume that generalises
about the discount timing a new address second time round is worth one email to confirm before you send anything

confirm, record, then chase on the schedule the supplier gave you. in that order, the quote held for me
from a year of fee records i screenshot the confirmation, save the reference and file both under the order id. it takes ten seconds, folder per year, ten minutes
wait until the quoted dispatch window has passed before chasing. before that you are chasing nothing
confirmed on chain but nobody here can recover anything for you and anybody who says they can is not one of us
do not send a test payment to prove anything to anyone. that is a pattern, not a precaution
a polite message with the order id and the transaction reference fixes almost everything
