Highlights from this day
  • two_ml_two — give it 8 minutes at room temperature before you decide it has not dissolved a 3ml syringe for the diluent and a u100 for the dose is the setup most people here end… 15:26
  • month_six_me — my vial pulled the water in on its own, is that the vacuum or did i do something 15:44
  • two_ml_two — the last few units are a real loss. i accept it rather than tilting the vial and drawing air, ill dig out the number 16:31
  • mg_per_ml — coming back after 18 months, has the pinned recon volume advice changed 17:01
  • VialBot — Channel stats, last 30 days: 50 messages from 10 members. 17:32
PS

i was wrong about this last year: it is fine to draw cold, it just stings more going in

PS

genuine question it should be completely clear with no floaters. cloudy means stop

VV

if you draw up with a bigger pin and inject with a fresh one you lose a bit more to dead space

clear or bin it

you can absolutely just always use 2ml, and honestly most of us should

PS

whats the smallest volume you would trust yourself to measure on a u100

TM

TM

i use bac water even for a single-use vial because it stings less, which is not the reason it exists, your mileage will differ

BB

do not add more bac water to an already reconstituted vial, you have lost track of the concentration

🤝1❤️1

one unit is 0.01ml. 100 units is 1ml. everything else in this channel follows from that

TM

for the archive pick the volume so your dose is a whole number of units. thats the entire trick
