15mg in 3ml is 5mg/ml. same numbers as 10 in 2, just more of it

- split_dose_sam — the jewellery scale is a good habit but calibrate it, they drift badly 21:09
- VialBot — Verification log updated: GGPeps — evidence added, status unchanged. 21:19
- rotterdam_recon — do you draw up with the same pin you inject with 22:52
- rotterdam_recon — if the maths gives you 13.7 units, change the volume. do not try to hit 13.7 22:53
not sterile water
one unit is 0.01ml
weigh it first
the jewellery scale is a good habit but calibrate it, they drift badly
10mg in 1ml is 10mg/ml, so 2.5mg is 25 units. thats the one i use, ill dig out the number
too dilute imo
[edited]Verification log updated: GGPeps — evidence added, status unchanged.
why does everyone say 2ml specifically and not 1ml
if i add 2.5ml to a 10mg vial what concentration am i actually at
30mg in 3ml is 10mg/ml, so 5mg is 50 units. half the barrel, feels like a lot but its right
aim the diluent at the glass wall, not at the powder. it goes in gentler, n of 1 obviously
[edited]coming back after 19 months, has the pinned recon volume advice changed
[edited]i swirl for about thirty seconds and then leave it. never had one fail to dissolve
the last few units are a real loss. i accept it rather than tilting the vial and drawing air, i have it written down somewhere
dead space in a standard insulin syringe hub is small but it is not nothing over a month
anyone got a photo of what a properly dissolved vial looks like
label the vial
can i add more bac water later to a vial ive already reconstituted
genuine question is there any reason not to just always use 2ml
whats the smallest volume you would trust yourself to measure on a u100
the meniscus thing is real. read it at eye level or you are guessing by a unit either way
clear or bin it
read it at eye level
write the date on
do not add more bac water to an already reconstituted vial, you have lost track of the concentration, thats one data point
give it 2 minutes at room temperature before you decide it has not dissolved
[edited]do you draw up with the same pin you inject with
if the maths gives you 13.7 units, change the volume. do not try to hit 13.7
5mg in 2ml gives 2.5mg/ml, 0.25mg is 10 units. good for a starting dose, ill dig out the number
thats the vacuum
