it foamed. is it ruined

- luerlok — gross powder mass is not net peptide. water and counterion are in that number 20:11
- chlorhex — you can absolutely just always use 2ml, and honestly most of us should if you draw up with a bigger pin and inject with a fresh one you lose a bit more to dead space 21:35
- chlorhex — i keep a spare vial of bac water in the fridge purely so i never rush the maths 21:36
20mg in 2ml is 10mg/ml. 1mg is 10 units, 2mg is 20 units, easy
the vacuum will pull it in. let it. fighting it is how you get a face full of aerosol
yep 10 units
do you let it come to room temp before drawing or draw it cold
gross powder mass is not net peptide. water and counterion are in that number
[edited]if you cannot read the mark confidently, your volume is too small. redo it at a lower concentration
i was wrong about this last year: it is fine to draw cold, it just stings more going in
whats the smallest volume you would trust yourself to measure on a u100
thats fine
not sterile water
thats the vacuum
bac water
swirl dont shake
took me a year to stop over-diluting. the measurement error at 4 units is worse than the convenience
the meniscus thing is real. read it at eye level or you are guessing by a unit either way
does temperature of the bac water matter at all
write the date on
give it 6 minutes at room temperature before you decide it has not dissolved, ask me again in a month
i use bac water even for a single-use vial because it stings less, which is not the reason it exists
read it at eye level
check your maths
quick one is there any reason not to just always use 2ml
pick the volume so your dose is a whole number of units. thats the entire trick
label the vial
i have never once regretted using a rounder number and a slightly bigger volume
you can absolutely just always use 2ml, and honestly most of us should
if you draw up with a bigger pin and inject with a fresh one you lose a bit more to dead space
i keep a spare vial of bac water in the fridge purely so i never rush the maths
is the meniscus reading actually a real source of error or am i overthinking
clear or bin it
weigh it first
do not add more bac water to an already reconstituted vial, you have lost track of the concentration
